Taiwan lemons are small, oval-shaped citrus fruits, similar to a kumquat, with thin, bright orange or yellow-orange skin. They have a unique sweet-tart flavor because the skin is sweet while the flesh is tart. They are also known as Taiwanica Fortunella or Taiwan Kumquat and are used whole in snacks, salads, and marmalades.
